Who We Are
WAI (Women in Aviation International) Last Frontier Chapter supports women in all career fields of aviation, in all stages of life through youth outreach events, mentoring events, scholarships, and monthly meetings.
Our purpose – education outreach, networking and mentoring. Our chapter provides assistance towards scholarship resources and mentoring by our local members.

As a chapter we have monthly meetings, and the occasional event. We as a group really strive to find female community within aviation. Our meetings focus on building community and supporting each other through our aviation goals. Through this we also put on events to help support aspiring young females to take their first step into aviation. In the past we have had many speakers at our meeting. They have included some phenomenal people!

Information on WAI Last Frontier Chapter
We are a nonprofit organization based in Anchorage, Alaska. We are a chapter of the international organization Women in Aviation International. Our monthly meetings are held mostly at Lake Hood in Anchorage. However, we do have events that take place all over the state! Our group is an aviation centered ladies group. We have every faucet of aviation in our group: pilots, mechanics, dispatchers, flight attendants, professors, etc. This makes our group so diverse, and so special!
Our members are not required to reside in Anchorage, nor required to be Alaska residents. Our ladies are required to be members of the international organization, WAI. To learn more about membership visit the Meetings page: WAI Anchorage Chapter Meetings
